Unaltered atmospheric portraits and improvisational free verse
When I take pictures, I work with available light to document authetic human presence. When I write, I do the same with my words. Every portrait and every poem remains unedited, preserving the profound reality of a single, unaltered moment.

The weight of the moment

Authenticity requires courage. Just like honesty, it is increasingly becoming an undervalued quality within our society. Although we all crave real moments with real people that foster real artistic creation, we are flooded by the artifical instead. It is time to take a stance. The art I produce is my way of expressing my appreciation for being bravely, unapologetically human; it is my way of drawing your attention to the totality of each moment, with every perfection and imperfection it carries. When I take portraits, I work with natural light and your natural presence. There are no artificial strobes, reflectors, or cosmetic corrections, only the honest weight of the environment and your unfiltered presence within it.
Straight out of camera, preserving every grain and shadow exactly as it fell.
